When Two Streams Meet – Sufism and Zen, near Boston, MA (June 11-13, 2010)

May 6th, 2010 by Eric

During this retreat we will concentrate on the Dharma transmissions that came through Murshid Samuel Lewis to Murshid Wali Ali. We will look at Oneness practices from the teachings of several traditions. Included will be study of the Flower Ornament Sutra, Dances and Walks of Universal Peace, and teaching stories of Murshid SAM’s Dharma lineages: Nyogen Sensaki, Papa Ramdas, and others. These transmissions are doorways to Joy, Ecstacy, and Love, and lead us to develop Compassion, Clarity, and Awareness.

The retreat will take place in a beautiful rural setting in north central MA northwest of Boston, and is offered by SAMA, the Boston area branch of the Sufi Ruhaniat. For information and to register you can go to www.northeastsufis.org, phone 617-876-5272, or email SAMA.

A flyer with registration form is available here.
